This guitar was well planned out.  In the beginning we spent a lot time talking about his style of playing.

   In most cases this will play an important part of designing an ideal guitar for someone.   For starters we discussed different woods and the shape of the neck.  I then had the privilege of inviting him to my shop to finalize needs and desires.  He decided to go with rosewood back and sides.  He also wanted something to personalize the guitar.

   After presenting him with ideas and options, he decided to have his initials inlay with mother of pearl.  He also had selected the wood for his guitar.  He was very happy that options were available.  This is just another way of personalizing the guitar.
